The cost of admission is $25 per person, with a minimum of 3 paid admissions per booking. This includes 90 minutes of gameplay and access to the full facility.

Games are played in groups of 3-5, but if you have 6 or more people, no problem! You can split into groups and switch players at any time once in the gaming area.

Groups of 2 are allowed to play at Activate, however a minimum of 3 paid admissions per booking is required. Games are designed for a minimum of 3 people, so expect this experience to be more challenging.

The games at Activate have been designed for adults, and therefore will be physically and mentally challenging for anybody under the age of 10. Activate requires a paid adult to be in the game rooms at all times with children 10 years old and younger (this rule does not apply to school groups). For children between the ages of 11 - 13, an adult must be present at the facility throughout the entire gaming experience.

Please note: As of January 2020, waivers must be signed by a parent for any player under the age of 18.

Booking is available in person, online, and over the phone. To see a list of all available openings, please visit the location page nearest to you. A deposit of $5 per person is required to book.

The Activate experience includes 90 minutes of gameplay. Please plan on being in the facility for at least 1 hour and 45 minutes to accommodate payment, sign-in, etc.

Nope! You do not need to book a specific room. Your admission gives you access to our full facility. Feel free to spend your 90 minutes in as many or as few rooms as you would like.

A credit card is required to place the deposit for your booking: MasterCard, Visa, Debit Visa or American Express are accepted. You may pay with debit, credit card, or cash on the day of the booking.

A deposit of $5 per person is required to book for your team. The remaining balance must be paid in full on the day of the booking. This does not apply to full facility rentals.

Yes, the deposit is refundable if the booking is cancelled more than 48 hours in advance. This does not apply to full facility rentals. In the case of extreme weather, where Environment Canada has issued a weather warning that recommends against travel, a booking can be cancelled, and the deposit will be kept on file to be used at a later date.

As our name indicates, Activate is an active experience. We suggest wearing clothes that you are comfortable running, jumping, crawling, and climbing in. Clean, dry, flat-footed, closed-toe shoes are required (running shoes recommended). Players wearing heels, open-toe shoes, or sandals will NOT be allowed to participate.

No, none of our games are intended to be scary!

Please note: younger children may find the use of adrenaline props, music, and lights to be frightening.

There is plenty of free parking in our plaza!

Walk-ins are welcome; however, it is strongly advised that you book ahead of time, as we cannot guarantee we will have space to accomodate groups that drop in without a booking.

Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of your booking to allow time to process payment, create a profile, and ensure you have your full 90 minutes of gameplay once your booking starts.

We cannot guarantee groups that arrive less than 15 minutes before their booking time will receive all 90 minutes of gameplay.

Activate is available to accommodate up to 20 people per half hour time slot, however, the games must be played in teams of 3-5 players. Once you are in the gaming area, you are welcome to rearrange your teams at any point!

Have an unforgettable birthday party at Activate! At this time, we do not offer a birthday party package other than the 90 minute Activate experience.

Please keep in mind that a paid adult is required to go into the rooms with all kids 10 years old and younger. Activate does not allow any outside food or drinks in the facility (with the exception of water bottles in the lobby).

As an active gaming experience, Activate requires players to run, jump, climb, crawl and throw in many of our game rooms. In order to create a more engaging experience for our guests, we have added some props meant to induce a feeling of adrenaline and excitement, such as flashing lights, loud music, and fog.

While all players are welcome to play at Activate, we ask that those with pre-existing health conditions, or concerns use caution, and check with your medical professional before attending, when necessary.

We are more than happy to walk you through our facility at anytime during our facility hours before you book to find out if you are comfortable playing at Activate.

Please be advised, most games at Activate involve differentiating colours of the same family and vibrancy.
